ACADEMY HEAD TEACHER’S WELCOME From Lynn Wicksey

On behalf of our children, staff and governors I welcome you to The Grove Primary Academy.

The Grove is a vibrant, exciting school where children thrive in a nurturing and diverse environment. Our pupils have positive attitudes to learning and show great care and respect for one another.

Pupils are enthusiastic to attend this school. Their attitudes to learning are highly positive, and staff share this positivity and belief. The school is an inclusive and welcoming environment. This is evident through how pupils treat each other. One pupil, reflecting on the school’s value of diversity, said, ‘Difference doesn’t matter because we are all unique.’ (Ofsted June 2024)

At The Grove, we nurture and inspire our learners to become motivated and successful citizens who are equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We challenge our children to have high aspirations and promote achievement, creativity and teamwork through our broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum.

As a proud member of The  Kite Academy Trust, we work as one team; sharing our expertise to ensure every pupil receives an excellent education and an equal opportunity to thrive and succeed in life. Our vision is for every pupil to be happy and healthy; to contribute positively to their communities and achieve academic excellence.
